TCU : RE-CODE Partner and banner unit rankings
Which banners to pull, which Mythicals carry Easy through Boss Rush, and how UTTV armada summons stack up.
Partner units and banner Mythicals decide most of your early Toilet Collapsed Universe progress. Titans get the spotlight, but a bad Standard pull can waste thousands of Resources before you ever touch a golden toilet. This list ranks banner advice and key elite units for legacy Easy, Hard, Boss Rush, and Denver while TCU : RE-CODE is still upcoming. Pair it with how to get units, the Tier List Hub, and the Players hub for full kits.
Standard summons cost 120 Resources each. Redeem codes before you tap a banner, and budget leftovers in the resource planner.
Banner tier list (pull priority)
S — Really recommended for beginners
Genesis — Verdict of the Void
Headline pull: Scientist Screen Ultra. This is the banner we tell brand-new players to open first after the getting started loop. Screen pressure teaches wave control without demanding titan-level mechanics. UTTV also lives in this Genesis lane — roughly 1% per hour on the Verdict of the Void track — so veterans still hang around after the beginner Mythical lands.
A — Recommended for beginners
Refined — Vigilance Ascendant
Targets Mech 1.0 Mythical. Clean early carry for Easy and a respectable Hard partner when you are not ready for Titans.
Relic — Resonance of Ascension
Targets Pavlo and Brown Amplifier Mythicals. Strong utility and amp value for players who already understand controls.
Divine — Doomsday Covenant
Targets Female Mutant and Samurai Cameraman Mythicals. Excellent once you can position melee Mythicals without eating every laser.
C — Not for beginners
Standard — Unveiling the Shadow (Camera)
Skip until you have a clear Camera faction goal. New accounts burn Resources here and walk away with fillers.
Standard — Echoes of Rebirth (Speaker)
Same warning as Camera Standard. Speaker collectors only.
Shades of Victory (TV)
Not a beginner banner. Come back after you own a Genesis or Relic Mythical and still want TV-line depth.
Elite playable tier notes
These are not normal 120-Resource Commons. Treat them like endgame partners:
| Unit | Role snapshot | Tier note |
|---|---|---|
| UTCM | Ultimate Giant Camcorder, Battle Mode monster | S for Hard / Boss Rush when you master Battle Mode |
| Astro Polycephaly | Dual Normal/Blade kit, Dark Dimension heal | S sustain; Recode badge save confirmed |
| UTTV + armada | Genesis Verdict of the Void elite | S summon engine; see showcase below |
| X18 G-BOSS | 450,000 HP, Power ON burst | S boss-hunt flex; manage the HP drain |
| Beginner Mythicals (Mech 1.0, Pavlo, Scientist Screen Ultra, etc.) | Early clears | A until you unlock elites |
UTTV and the TV armada
UTTV is the Genesis chase unit. When it lands, the armada summons define the lobby:
| Summon | HP | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow Runner | 17,500 | Fast, CD 20, Drill Rush 125/tick, Slash 500 |
| Shadow Killer | 12,500 | Faster pressure piece |
| Small TV Drone | 10,000 | Laser 360/tick |
| Large TV Drone | — | Laser 420 |
| TV Woman 3.0 | 20,000 | Mid armada anchor |
| TV Strider | 75,000 | Laser 575 + screen 500/tick |
The mid-page showcase video walks the full UTTV kit so you can see armada timing before you dump Resources into Verdict of the Void pity.
X18 G-BOSS snapshot
HP 450,000 · 1.65x DR · Fast. Power ON adds damage but drains 2,500 HP per second for 45 seconds (112,500 total) and buffs Normal mode only. Switch between Normal and Gun deliberately — do not leave Power ON while you are already melting. G-BOSS is a veteran flex, not a first pull.
Mode-by-mode unit advice
- Easy — Any recommended beginner Mythical. Learn the how to play loop; do not chase UTTV on day one.
- Hard — Prefer screen/laser sustain or Astro Polycephaly. Follow the Hard Mode route.
- Boss Rush — UTCM Battle Mode and UTTV armada shine when cooldowns are respected.
- Denver — AOE screens and high HP partners climb; glass Standard fillers fall.
Titans still matter for map control — compare them on the Titan tier list — but a Genesis Mythical plus smart positioning clears more accounts than a rushed protocol.
Recode and investment safety
Recode is upcoming, not live. Badge partners such as Astro Polycephaly are expected to return; Titan Trio is not. Banner models will be reworked, so today’s S-tier partner may shift. Read Recode migration and the Recode update before you spend a month of Boss Rush Resources on a unit that might change kits. Farming badges that save playables is safer than stacking Trio cosmetics.
Confirm drop rates and banner rotations on the official Trello. Redeem flow is on how to redeem. Automation notes sit under scripts.
Pull Genesis or another recommended beginner banner first, bank Resources from codes, and only then chase UTTV or G-BOSS — that is the unit-list rule that keeps legacy TCU fun while Recode is still on the way.
