TCU : RE-CODE migration guide

TCU : RE-CODE is the largest Toilet Collapsed Universe update FStudio / Frost Workshop has announced. It is still upcoming. This page never treats Recode as already available, released, or launched. Legacy TCU on Roblox remains the playable experience with 7.1M+ visits while the team finishes a ground-up rebuild on a new place. Expect the old place to go private once Recode opens. Plan your grinding around that timeline.

Recode is not a quiet balance patch. Models, hitboxes, lobby flow, toilet AI, lasers, rockets, and flying movement are all marked for rework. Prometheus is getting a dedicated pass. Zombie Universe Part 2 and Skibidi Multiverse / Saga contents are on the Recode roadmap. Saga UTSM is confirmed to appear in the rebuild. A hitbox displayer and new keybinds for reworked playables are also planned — details belong in controls once those tools ship.

Partial data wipe — read this twice

Recode includes a partial data wipe. Not everything you own on legacy TCU will appear 1:1 on the new place. Community and developer messaging so far points to this split:

The Titan Trio exception matters. If your identity on TCU is built around those three titans, read the Titan Trio page and the titans tier list, then decide how much Time and Resources you still want to invest knowing Recode will not bring them forward. What you should farm before the swap

Prioritize unlocks that messaging says will restore:

1. Camera Woman memory / Camera Woman 3.0 partner route (Plungerman special, 10% plunger in lobby, Alpha Hills Camerawoman puzzles). Full steps in How to Get Units.
2. Glitch Toilet capture with Scientist Mech special for Data Accelerator / Glitch Found badge progress.
3. Astro Polycephaly playable mastery and any saved status that developers already called out.
4. Badge partners in general — Camera Woman 3.0-type restores are the clearest win.
5. Mechanical skill on Easy → Medium → Hard Mode so Recode muscle memory starts from a high floor.

Deprioritize pure Titan Trio cosmetics and one-to-one titan upgrade chasing if your only goal is Recode inventory. Compensation is planned for upgraded titans that do not transfer cleanly, but compensation is not the same as keeping your exact loadout.

How the place change will feel

When Recode opens, you will join a new Roblox place, not a silent teleport inside the current lobby. Old TCU is likely to become private. Friends lists, private server links, and muscle-memory teleports will break. Bookmark the official game page and watch the Recode updates feed plus the updates hub. Expect a new lobby, new toilet behaviors, and reworked flying / rocket / laser timings. Titan Protocol may look familiar at the golden toilet, but do not assume summon costs or cooldowns stay identical. Partner selection should still define online co-op, yet UI labels can change. Keep ?end in mind on legacy; confirm the Recode abandon command after launch notes appear.

Spending Resources without regret

Resources still matter on legacy TCU. Redeem TheLastAct and TCU through Menu → Config (how to redeem). RecodeIsSoon is unconfirmed. Buy power that helps you clear Hard Mode and badge routes today. Prefer banners that yield partners and playables you will actually use — Verdict of the Void and other beginner-safe banners listed in the guides hub and unit tier list. Avoid dumping everything into titan paths that Recode will not restore 1:1.

If you use automation, understand that executors and auto farm scripts target the current place. Recode will likely break them on day one. The scripts hub and executor setup pages are legacy-oriented risk documentation, not Recode guarantees.

Roadmap themes to watch

None of those items mean Recode is playable today. They explain why FStudio is spinning up a new place instead of patching legacy forever.

1. Finish Camera Woman 3.0 and other restore-friendly badge partners.
2. Capture Glitch Toilet properly (Scientist Mech special), not kill-only.
3. Main Astro Polycephaly if you enjoy it — progress is expected to save.
4. Accept Titan Trio as legacy-only glory.
5. Screenshot important inventories for your own records before the old place goes private.
6. Follow Recode update notes the week FStudio flips the switch.
7. Relearn controls after the keybind rework lands.
